Transportation and logistics coordination for the nuclear power project carried exceptional logistical and security requirements that only Sinotrans could provide.
Challenge
To move massive, specialized equipment loads comprising of 400-tonne foundation beam along with a 125 tonne nuclear reactor from Karachi Port to the plant site. The journey was intended to be made over a severely compromised route with numerous security concerns in a restricted access area.
Solution
From low bed, extendable, and hydraulic multi-axle trailers to heavy-duty cranes, Sinotrans procured and arranged the equipment needed for the massive undertaking while ensuring airtight security, and managing special entry requirements.
